I wouldn't go for that. I'd go for the socializing, getting my numbers off my own car, and seeing how everyone else did discussing their mods and so forth to get an idea what upgrade gives what type of power increase even if a small one.

Overall it's a community thing. Personally, I'm a lone wolf. I don't hang out with a group and do pretty much everything myself here on my own unless my brother is around when he visits. But if I lived where you did I'd meet up with people from the forum for stuff like dyno day, beach cruise and stuff since it involves a passion everyone is a part of.

There is no social aspect to it? Just kicking back with some brews and talking to the guys?

REV knows nothing. But thats just him... DYNO DAY is just not sophisticated enough for him. Im going merely to learn more about TURBO'd Rotaries especiall RX8's since I have no knowledge whatsoever and I need to get somekind of it into my noggin since I am going FI myself. Now that their FI'd Cars are gonna be on the dyno I can take a closer look on hey they troubleshoot **** and all that. After all forget the fact that its DYNO DAY, just being around a group of guys with the same interest (no homo) is awesome. MATT YOU FAIL.

They seem to have a lot more meets than most areas, so I am guessing that it isn't as big a deal to people around there to miss some every now and then.

^you are right in a way Unfor, but DYNO DAY is only once a year. Last year there was two, but one of them was held secret till the last minute. Its like whatever, If people rather go to weekly boring meets where only <5 RX8's show up then thats on them. If they want to miss the EPIC DYNO DAY's FULL OF WIN, let it be. They have the option to jack off to it watching it live via Stickam. But its not the same.

That's why I was surprised Matt was contemplating going. I thought this was suppose to be a huge event (as I had stated in a previous post). I was a bit confused

Oh I know, but their meets are mostly shenanigan meets like taste of the month, etc where it's just to hang out.

I was referring to stuff like Dyno day, SS, the beach cruise, going on a cruise to the mountains for a whole day, stuff from what I've read doesn't happen often.

That's how I see it too. But, not everyone sees things the same ways.

Morning Mike

Agreed. Quality over quantity is how I see it. Same method applies to those I associate and keep in contact with in reality. I only have a few I keep in touch with that I grew up with since a kid even up to now. No one from college nor co-workers.

IM not being a dick. I just telling it how it is. When they asked you if you were going you were like " I might just drop by if mah peepz are there"... WHAT KIND OF ******* LAME *** BULLSHIT IS THAT?! I understand you might not get along or be close friends with most people in SOCAL, but To go just because your other FANBOI's are going, thats bullshit. I know that everyone think my car is FAIL and most likely doesnt like me as a PERSON on the forum as well. But I can really give a **** what they think or how they look at me. Im not there to impress anybody. Im there for DYNO DAY and to be apart of this epic event. (also to get my compression test ) If you want to miss it REV then thats fine. And if you gonna miss it just because your "PEEPS" are not going... WELL you alreday know what I think.

Hey Mike. So since your friend with the FC is going now, I dont have to pick you up right>>> Cuz I need to know, and PM me your address IF I do have to pick you up...

SO I've looked at several links on the interwebs about cleaning an AEM AIR FILTER and um..... Do you think they sell the AEM Cleaner at Pep Boys or Autozone.. Im about to call in a bit... but I dont think Pep Boys is open (i rather try them since they have many intakes in stock- NAME BRAND) to where as you have to order them from AUTOZONE... they have NADA in stock.

No zumn, they don't sell the AEM filter cleaner, only K&N

Leshil and I went last weekend looking for it, and we couldn't find any, not advance nor pepboys...

best to check online jic for location sales
