Setting aside a lot of bullshit for a minute;

BHR was founded on a certain set of principles and ethics that many of you have heard me articulate in person, via PM, and openly on this forum. Jeff, Erick, and Todd, have not poured their hearts and souls into BHR because I paid them to do so.

After 2 years, business is booming so well for us that we are now having to fashion new administrative processes to keep up with demand. Plus, we now have a little working capital that shall serve to accelerate the development and release of future products and ideas. How do you think BHR was able to pay for half those t-shirts and 100% of the Sunday lunch during the recent dyno meet?

All of you who support BHR have never done so because we offer the lowest prices, the biggest promises, or the usual hard-sell approach. You have supported we ****** because we are more concerned about your cars than you are, because we are available to our community (for better or worse! ), and because we have admitted error and been more concerned with solutions rather than layng blame.

Because of that, we are grateful to all of you.

I also think that those who reserve judgement are not using whatever capacity for individual thinking they may have. People without opinons are not thinking.

tilt:

As one human being (me) to another human being (brice), I sincerely wish that he does turn his life around and learn from this mistake. I don't even have to force myself to be sincere about that. To wish otherwise even briefly would mean that I am less of a person that I believe myself to be.

However, I recognize what happens when trust is damaged, and recognize that time is what will be needed. And that time, for likely most people on the board here, is longer than the lifespan of our cars, or even brice's bank accounts. That time would require him maintaining vendor fees for probably years with little to know income due to lack of trust. From a business and personal emotional stake, that simply isn't sustainable.

If, he somehow CAN sustain that financially (without fraud of course, because this is assuming he turned his life around), then my statement was simply the only possible way he can remain a functional part of the community.

Just seeing those options, however remote. I am not going to say that I believe he was as bad as everyone says he is, and I am not going to say that I believe him to be an angel. Because I simply don't have that first hand knowledge, and repeating any of that is simply hearsay and I could be unknowingly perpetuating mis-information (even if well intentioned).

The only thing that I can say for a fact about this whole situtation is that his credibility is clearly down the drain, and what it would take for the community to accept him back...and how unlikely that is to occur.

I still hope he learns the right lesson from this....

Easy told me a while back how the guy who Water-Jets the pieces for our coil brackets once called me a "real piece of work" What they didn't know is that I have heard that several times before.

so Saturday may 8th...

should I be flying out of LA, or is there something worth hanging around for and a place to crash and fly out Sunday

even a nebulous "yes" is enough for me right now, I don't need hard plans.

Sorry, this post didn't show up on ispy.

Latest flight out Saturday is 10:30am, latest flight out sunday is 2:10pm. I am going against the time zones and it's a minimum of 6 hours of flight time (+ more depending on where the stops are). Saturday's 10:30am still gets me in at like 8pm at night, home around 9pm, Sundays is nearly direct, but still midnight landing.

So if we are doing anything satuday, it's better that I take a sunday flight home.

I plan on getting my act together a little sooner and making BHR's booth space even BETTER than last year. What one piece of gear binds BHR to our SoCal people?

yeah, a 10:30 am flight out of Ontario (?) means you have to be there by 9 which means there's no time for anything.

If you fly out Sunday, we could see about taking a drive out to Rim of the World or something.
we either have to find a cheap *** hotel for you to stay at or have you crash at someone's place.

I'm feeling left out, I didn't make Sephy's list.

CRH: yeah, seriously. Even though you and I bitch about SS all the time since we've been there so many times, it is still a somewhat fun event and I think I'm looking forward to this year's more then any other year.

Well, I have decided that the geeks who like to argue over small, stupid, **** simply need to have their attentions directed to something more worthwhile, and I am not talking about the ladies Easy was Big Pimpin' with last year. I am talking about MM's favorite toy for self-stimulation.

'Nuff said.
