Ugh, technically the used motor has 47,000
My motor had 57,000 when the flood gates opened
It's within the policy parameters to allow for used/rebuild pieces that are at least as new/fresh as current pieces
I had no compression tests prior to my motor going
I either take this motor with a "lifetime" warranty or take the cash and spend it on my own, around $3k, labor not included.
Motor will get a compression test prior to installation, which is my only relief.
Either way, I now have to have someone else's motor with 47,000 unknown miles on it. I wonder if the core warranty from Mazda will still cover this? Any incite?
