the more things change
my spark plug wires came loose on the fwy once.
went dead just as i was changing fwy's..
check wires then battery, then tow to dealer.
if it goes to dealer make sure you have it on
a flat bed tow truck...

check out the West Coast peeps coming to the rescue!
some great suggestions here.
- Has your car been driving fine prior to this?
- Definitely check your battery cables
- The spark plug cables have been known to come loose.
- If you disconnected the battery cable, could be the all the fuel trims were reset so the car is trying to settle them. (this can lead to a rough idle for a few drive cycles)
- Did you double check the MAF sensor connection?
- How long since you cleaned the MAF?
- Aftermarket intake?
One last suggestion: double check to make sure the coils are going to the appropriate plugs. I know this sounds stupid but sometimes the simplest thing is what causes the issue.
