Hi Guys and Gals,

I wanted to see if anyone was down for a little monthly get together at Dave and Buster's in Milpitas. I'm thinking we could line up our sweet rides, talk about it's highs and lows and mods if we have any planned. Then walk on in to D and B for some lunch and good times.

We'll meet at 2pm, find the Black RX-8 with aero package and start lining up with me!

Small or large get together matters not...but a passion for your car is a must.

if I'm not working, I'll definitely be there, but if I am working, you guys can just circle around to the other side of the mall & see my red 8 parked there if you get bored.

 

I probably can't make it at that time (supposed to be going somewhere in the pm for a few hours but not sure what time), if it falls through or the time changes I'll swing by for sure!!! :D

Too short of a notice. I had other plans today and I have just read this. It would be cool to have a D&B meet with RX-8's though. Let's do that at another time but have around 2 or 3 weeks notice. So, did anyone show up?

I can't wait to see a few shiny RX-8s out at DBs! I was just thinking today about how much I love my 8.

 

"Sponsor" is a loose term. Basically the program is a way for people who autocross to introduce their friends to the sport. So if you show up with me, I'm saying you're my friend. Anyway check the schedule and when there's an event you want to attend PM me.

Always. And if you ask people if you can ride with them during their first run (out of three) they're more than likely to say yes. Wanna see what a fast driver in a fast car is like? Or just wanna see what a particular type of car can do? This is the place.

Are spectators allowed at these autocrosses? Also, I'm going to try to make it down to DB on Saturday, but I won't be able to stay to long.

 

Spectators are encouraged and most drivers are happy to let you ride with them on their first run. You must wear a helmet. They have very few loaner helmets available. Autocross starts by 10am and often goes past 5pm.

Ok, I know I must of miffed up here. I parked my car far end of the parking lot to separate us from the regular parked cars. I saw some nice 8s scattered all throughout the lot including 1 silver RX-8 roaming about. I stood still till about 3pm, and I thought damn I should of gotten into a place with better visibility.

Next time I'll have my number handy for anyone that needs it and I'll let everyone know a specific area at the parking lot to look for other than find that black 8!

The silver 8 looked destined to find something since she zip zapped around alot. I saw Amazen8 a red one outside as well. The clear corners looked nice.

Ok so if everyone would like to try again let me know and we can upgrade our attempt to version 2.0....geeky? yeah :P
