Spirits Racing introduces "Spirits Run" (A.K.A.: The Spirits of Rotaries)


Donation: Part of the funds we collect from all drivers will donate to local law enforcement and fire department.




Participants: Cars with rotaries only...sorry LS1 swaps...& hello rotary swaps! ;p




About: The Spirits of Rotaries run is very similar to CBS's "The Amazing Race" or Speed's "Bullrun", if you don't know what these fun events are, please do yourself a favor and research them.
Every participants will go from checkpoint to checkpoint starting from the very beginning all the way to the final place with a few "fun" events in between...
Every checkpoint will provide you with a "route card" which sometimes can be tricky so you'd better be quick on your feet.




Important note: This is not about who's car is faster or have higher HP, this is all about the quickness of navigation skill and that is the true key in achieving the quickest time!




Cost: $125.00 per car (2 people maximum), any additional person will be $25.00 in order for us to cover food. The cost will cover lunch & dinner as well as prizes!




When: 6/12/10 (2nd Saturday of June)




Where: Socal, sorry we can't reveal any further in order for us to provide the participants with best experience during the event.




Prizes: At the finish line we will provide food as well as giving away prizes.

We also do encourage you guys to bring some camera for some behind the event fun, we will do the same and some of the footage will be placed on youtube!

So far a few people are really looking forward to this event, I wish the same for the RX8 owners.

 

hmmmmm...sounds interesting. Just outta curiousity, would you be able to release the amount of miles the actual trip is? I know some of these trips are scheduled for a good couple hundred miles. I know it's kinda a dumb question but should the participants expect a similar length of travel?

 

Hmmmm. sounds kinda Koool.... yeah mileage would be kool.. lunch and dinner..sounds like HOurs of driving..

 

^ good questions I feel the same way. It is going to stay in Southern California. I'm not really sure where it's going to start or really end. But if I had to guess how many miles I would say around 100 or think of it as a trip to San Diego. If your in Diego then think of it as a trip to L.A. or Riverside. It is a day event but there are stops to do activitys so it stays fun.

I'm not sure about the lunch/Dinner question is about, the money being paid is to cover that.

 

ok wow, that's not bad (regarding distance) - i drive to San Jose all the time so the trip doesn't seem that bad. Might be interested but will have to see when it gets closer.

 

If only the police in my area weren't tools....
