What's up people. I'm new to the forum as I'm usually on the 7 forum. I just want to extend an opportunity to an owner of a hooked up (read, no rice) 8 to have his/her ride play part in an advertising campian for a new line of wheels to the market. I cannot tell you the name of the manufacturer just that they have strong ties to Enkei. The distributor is looking for either red, grey, or white but can be persuaded into another color if the 8s' done right. The photo shoot will take place immediately after SEMA in L.A. so the the owner HAS TO BE LOCAL. In addition, It looks like the owner will get to keep the wheel/tire package. I will get confirmation on that at SEMA. Please send any pics to my email account before Sunday morning as I leave for Vegas then (businfo4mg@yahoo.com).

Oh and there is one red 8 owned by someone in the OC that I met at the last S.Cal owners meeting at Sonic on the 2nd of Oct. You were there with your friend's girlfriend (nice body) and there were some wedding issues you guys were dealing with. i have a stock tianium, i like BF Goodrich's product man........i always wanna put my car on their posters like the spura, z, R34, S200 or those mustang....i hope you work for them.

 

I used to work for BFG-not anymore. I'm still in the industry but if I told you where I'd give the surprise away!

Oh, and the owner of the 8 wasn't getting married, it was his friend, so it could possibly be mikeb. Can you give me any more info on him?

Update;

I've just spoken to the importer about the photo shoot. The wheels will be given to you for your help. You will also have the opportunity for other photo shoots to come as well as placement in the companys booth for IAS April of 05. My buddy Rishie over at Auto RnD will also be helping out with sponsorship rates on the products he sells (Ings, endless you know, the good stuff). I vouch for Mike and the Importer. And damn SD you're good. lol. In any case, I've been desperately searching for a sponsee as well for this Importer. I have interviewed a couple of RX8's but the cars are just not complete enough and transportation to LA was difficult, however free rims and "maybe" tires hehe would be a deal and a half.

I've seen a few of the wheel designs.

Things I would expect this vehicle to have:

Aero: Ing+S or MS or options, i'd personally prefer ings because MS is everywhere.
Suspension: Anything with a drop. Coilovers preferred and more so Zeals.
Exhaust: Whatevers.
Seats: Can be popped in and out.

The basic external areas should be done. Anything else is extra.

I will personally offer additional sponsorship pricing on items that might be needed to assist in completing the project. I might be able to get an INGS kit quickly and coils i can have in three weeks, but SEMA is like a week away. Exhaust, Espelir is an option.

Let me know if I can help. I know myself and the Endless boyz have been knocking on doors. lol. It's just like all the RX8's are the same practically. Not enough aftermarket support.
