sup. movin over from the rx-7 club and just threaded to say hi !

sadly, even after one year of research and 18 prospective rx-7s later, i cant buy an FD. due to some financial issues.
but the renesis sounds like it has great potential, and these are new cars, so ive moved over to the rx-8 :D .

hopefully i can transfer some things ive learned from my 13b-REW knowledge and apply it to the new platform.

so... im planning to purchase a brilliant black rx-8 this friday.. any dealer/ car package suggestions ? ive heard galphin mazdas good, any other suggestions ?

glad to see you over here. even though i have an rx-8 i still want an rx-7 but finacials are holding me back from getting one

theres been a few threads of which dealerships people think is the best. i purchased mine from cerritos - browning mazda. went there because they lowered prices for me compared to the other boys. It's been a while since the 8's have been out so I think you have much more room in figuring out the final prices.

I got the titanium w/ grand touring package. those leather seats are nice with the warmers and all. one thing its missing is the seat coolers. :P

 

ah i live 5 minutes from browning... hopefully i can look it up this friday. im debating whether to get the black leather or black cloth ... and btw, is there anyway i can purchase just the front lip from the aero package ?

and are sunroofs worth getting ?

p.s. about the FD, im still planning on buying one ... just some time from now . until then i will be modifying the hell out of my rx-8 =D .

 

by all means black leather! (all black, not with red) VERY luxurious seats IMHO- if you want cloth, might as well get an automatic- or just buy a 3 =)
the aero pak comes in 3 pieces- (rear towel bar makes 4) i just put on the front & rear (anyone want the sides? NewInBox, black, make offer =)
gotta have the rotors front & rear too- matches the GT headrests and breaks up all that black.
clear corners on front of course.
sunroof? black car parked in that famous SoCal sunshine- yeah, it's worth it- cracking it open might keep your cd collection from turning into a molten slag heap too ;O)
If you go for black (I did)- go directly from the dealer to Autopia and fill the trunk with detailing supplies ;o0
