yeah...seriously - autobac's was my home away from home

though they didn't sell much for our cars - i still like the community it brought (for the most part anyways)

I used to love going to yuki sushi then browse around autobac's looking for random crap to buy...

oh well...

i picked up a california duster, a couple of option dvd's, a couple t-shirts and 5 air freshners...

they said the one in covina is supposed to close next week and have all their remaining stuff transported to the one in stanton. Hopefully there's still some good stuff left - i wanna pick up some more dvd's

 

I have been there twice, didnt really see much interesting stuff for our cars... but is it worth it to drive from norcal to socal for super autobacs sale?

 

unfortunately it's not...it's slim pickin's right now - i remember pulling up and seeing a bunch of crappy civics parked out front w/a bunch of idiots stacked inside each isle looking for to buy ****, that i'm sure won't fit some of their cars...

as of right now, i'm trying to talk to some of the rx7 club members to see if we can put together a farewell meet. I'd like to see the store go out with some kinda bang...

I think you just get use to the smell... and when the air freshener isn't so "new" anymore, you really can't smell it anymore. Because I remember there would be times I would be too broke to buy a new one, and my car would be without one for a few weeks, but everyone would say it still smelled of squash.

 

lol i remember when mine ran out i just left it there for looks... there was a time i left it empty for like over 3 months

 

Ha... Did you leave the actual freshener there? Or just the case? Cause I've been guilty of just leaving the case there for weeks at a time... I don't know about 3 months though

 

i left the air freshener there too... i wasnt that brave to just leave the case. you know chicks might ask whats in there... cant just say its an empty air freshener case. lol just tell them its a condom case

 

2/27 was the first day I believe, I was there around 8PM

I picked up some stuff but nothign amazing. I went two weeks prior, right before the bankruptcy was public and it was quite obvious they were in trouble...
