It may help if we knew where the ticket is from.
It is possible they are giving you a chance to name the real driver of the car if it wasn't you. Then they would get the ticket. If you don't reply the ticket would likely be sent to you. I'm assuming that you were the driver of the car at that time.

ya if they have you on camera, you're done for. only thing that will save you is if someone else was actually driving, or will take the hit for you

it's a camera "ticket" violation notice. there is no fee or court date.
did some more searching seems this letter has no legal weight and can be thrown away.

from redflex in AZ

anyone here deal with this before?

i got 1 of those before in millbrae CA idk what the law is out there in AZ but i got those similar options. i could either pay it up front or go to court. i went to court and they took like $100 off and i did traffic school to remove the point. if they have you on camera with pictures and video of the actual car and license plates youre screwed. idk how you could fight it. watch the video and see if its legit. sometimes you can view it online. i know i could with mine. hope that helps.

It is possible this is one of the tickets issued after the mid-July date when Redflex had their contract canceled.

If this is the initial letter I would either file it or throw it in the trash. I know that the cameras remained active after the contract termination date and the letters being sent out were similar to yours where they simply said you needed to contact the court and say you ran the light.

Regardless, I'd simply do nothing. If it happens to be legit then the court will have to appoint a process server to serve you. However I seriously doubt that will happen since previous letters gave you a court date of some kind.

In either case, try stopping next time before you turn...I've nearly hit plenty of people making that move.
