Fitment out of the box was 9/10, took it to my body shop and now it's 10/10. I've had the hood over a year and it looks as good as the day I put it on.

did the shop just realign the hood?
did you get the hood clear coated / clear bra'd? If not, you might want to consider it.

shop had to fab a bracket since I didn't want them to bend the stock hinges (which would have been easier)

It's not clear coated or clear bra'd... I still think I might end up painting it GG to match the car. I wax regularly and it has a UV compound that seems to be working really well.

From the angle that I was looking at it, it sure does look like paint-matched already.... But Definitely get it paint matched. It would look awesome! I plan getting a hood also in the near future.... maybe somethinge like Deathwalkins hood on his VR... or that one WB that i showed Jeid not too long ago in the SOCAL lounge with the Gunmetal/WB paint scheme.... I was looking at those GANADOR mirrors but day'mn those things are HELLA expensive! ... My only plans as of now... are 1. Turbo... 2. Front Amemiya/Knightsport 3. Sides 4. Wheels/Tires 5. Rear Kenstyle or other... Man why cant this day come any faster? We are about 1 month and 1 week away ... I hope my compression is good... If not... NEW ENGINE... Im so stoked... I can already smell the rubber Im going to be burning once Im FI'd...

On another note I have also been looking at the MISHIMOTO Universal Transmission Oil Cooler....With MT90 + Oil Cooler.. that would be nice... The oil cooler is only about $200 and is about the same si

Zumn one thing to keep in mind regarding oil coolers is as long as your coolant system is under control your oil temperatures will follow suit most of the time.

I would monitor your temps and determine then if you need a cooler upgrade.

2^thats what I was thinking of doing first. Get all the gauges/senders that Im going to need for my setup and monitor my gauges... If they keep steady then I guess I might not need an upgrade, and just regulary drain and replace fluids. However I want to be able to make it to the Vegas meet on my new set-up with everything running cool... If it seems like my car didnt run cool on the trip to the Vegas meet, (ex: if I have to stop multiple times for some reason like temp changes) Then Ill consider upgrading the crucial cooling areas of my engine/tranny. A radiator upgrade/hoses will be good But I want a thicker radiator so it can hold more coolant. I own an 04 so for sure Im going to have to get a second oil cooler (freakin expensive)... is there any alternatives other than a stock oil cooler from Mazda...? Good Quality/ Good Price?

I understand where you're coming from. I'd be happy to discuss details over PM as I don't want to clutter the thread with unrelated tech talk. The gist is that you don't need a larger radiator but one that flows better. Simply increasing the size of your coolant capacity won't address any cooling issues should they arise. A larger FMIC will reduce the amount of "clean" air going to the radiator and as such a higher flowing radiator will probably be a wise upgrade

I didn't realize you had an 04 with a single cooler. That might be ground for an upgrade. I would base it off of real temperature data instead of just throwing parts at the car. Just take it easy after the install, observe and if you see high temp trends then you know what to do next.

Jeff's cooler has proven to be a good fix for his cooling issues however I would consider a radiator replacement before adding another radiator with additional cooling lines. Adding more complexity means more chances of issues.
