I printed out the page you refered to in the link, took that to the service dealer. They took one look at it, and said, "Huh, first we've ever heard about it." I asked them to look it up on their system, but to no avail. I've come to learn that if they don't have it on their system, they can't anything about it, no matter what kind of information you would bring to them. They simply don't have anything they can charge their work to.

the site says that a recall will be issued sometime in August...
and the dealers will replace it hassle free.
come... beat me with a stick.... I prefer a wooden stick at that!

I work for a dealership out in Phx and this is the site we use for stuff for recalls.

I just took my car down to the dealership for a check engine light. they said that the recall has been issued, but they do not know how to solve the problem yet. so they will contact us the info is provided to them.
