Just got back from the biggest pile of crap there was... over 8k+ people at least showed up. I was at least 3k more to go... around 1am, the line barely moved. I'll wait until 8am this morning to pick up the game.. it's NOT that important to get into the game that early. Blah.
I did see 4 Silver RX-8s, 1 Yellow on the street, 2 Black, and 1 Red. All of which none of the owners flashed/waved etc etc... oh wells.

Its only like 13.99/month or something if you get 3 months in advance.
Warcraft/Starcraft/Diablo are still free. World of Warcraft uses up TONS more bandwidth and hardware than those previous games. Battle.net before was just a matchmaking utility, in Diablo II characters were stored on the servers but that didn't use up too much space or bandwidth. The costs of the bandwidth for all the servers for WOW alone will be very expensive. I wouldn't doubt in the millions per month with how many people will play.

If they let us sell our items on Ebay, then let them charge us whatever fees it is. When I was going to school, I made around 1500-2000 on my spare time playing Ultima Online. Look at the items for sale now... some swords still going for 200-300. Castles around 600.

Problem is, people will pay regardless and that's why game houses like EA continue to expand.
I never could get into those RTS/RPG games.... too slow and boring.
"Let me sit and charge my karma" or "Let me build this city so that some fool will come and bomb it after the all this time"
bah, run and gun please. I'm playing CS:S right now.. waiting on some mods for the HL2.
