Worst Mazda Dealer = Glendale
Do not goto, buy from or deal with Mazda Glendale. They are complete idiots and morons and I cannot say enough bad things about them. The following is a true story. Sorry about the lenght but I cannot even begin to tell you the bad taste that this dealship left with me.
I bought my 8 from this dealer and LOVE the car. I called around to many dealerships in the area and after doing 2 months of research decided to go w/Glendale as they were relativelly close to my home and price was not an issue due to having an X-Plan pin #. Before I arrived I had informed the dealer which one I was going to buy and asked him to have the car ready for me. OF COURSE, it was in a lot 4 miles away, very dirty, no gas and I was forced to take a ride with this salesperson to retrive my car.
After going over all the deal points, I paid for the SIRIUS satellite radio w/ what i thought was PRO install and had scheduled an appointment to have it put in the following week.
The following week I dropped my car off at the dealeship and when I returned the dealership had put 60 MILES !!!! on the car. I also noticed a large gash taken out of the drivers side dashboard as if someone had tried to PRY the radio out with a flathead screwdriver. Immediatley i confronted the service dept, who rolled their eyes and told me that someone must have forgot to tell me this. They informed me that they would have to speak with the off site company about the damage.
Gary Busjager Glendale Mazda's service manager informed me that the only way that the damage to the dashboard would be fixed was to have the car sent the 60 miles back to the radio guys that damaged it. I refused on the grounds that these original radio guys had no idea what they were doing and were not qualified to take apart the dash and reassemble to fix the piece
To make a long story short, I insisted, and finally got my way that Mazda had to use their own in house techs to fix the dash, which involved removing the entire dashboard piece by piece. This whole process took over 2 months and I got Mazda insurance and corporate involved to solve the issue.
I was furious b/c i had paid for professional install and what I got was idiots in some valley Al and Eds who don't know the first thing about the 8's stereo. Glendale Mazda has a huge service dept. where they could have eaisly installed, instead they duped me into having some tech race my car down the freeway during breakin.
Believe it or not this is the condensed version. Point being MAZDA GLENDALE are the WORST.

If they put on 60 miles that would make it 30 each way.
Who in the hell would use an aftermarket installer of stereos that is 30 miles away?
I bet their body shop is 50 miles away. The tire installer 12 miles away. the mechanic 5 miles away.
