hows the high flow cat treating you especially for smog? i may want to go with that rather than get a stock. does your CEL pop up with a high flow cat?

First, I don't have my RX-8 anymore. Second, I never had problems with the high-flow cat. Third, I'm still trying to sell my stock cat on this thread.

Has the stock cat been cut off from the midpipe? Or is the stock catalytic converter in original state in one piece together with the midpipe?

It's a full stock midpipe and cat. It's rare that people would split these two. The upgrades out there are full midpipe and cat as well.

Are you pretty sure the stuff inside the cat is good? There are no pieces of honeycomb or other material rattling? Material inside ever been knocked out or dug out?

Confident it will pass California emissions test?

Yes, I'm pretty sure. It was on my car for 15k miles only. I removed it, stuffed both ends with cloth and let it sit on the side. It's pretty heavy, so I wouldn't recommend mailing it. I prefer pickup.

Wats the fitment like on the OBX Header.cause I know their isn't alot of room in that area of the engine bay. Does there have to be any extra bending or does anything have to be removed ?

I wouldn't know. This is brand new, and I've never installed it.
