WTB - Hoosier R6 - low heat cycles - 245/40zr18

As the title says -
I need a set (2 or 4) low-cycle, relatively fresh 18" Hoosier R6 in 245/40.

I'm in Phoenix, but I will travel a bit if they are worthwhile.

thanks!

There is a guy on the e46 forums thats sells a lot of take offs in a lot of sizes. Check it out. http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=584085

On page 1 (started in 2008) he listed 245/40/18's He is in michigan so you will have to pay the $25-35 a tire to ship but they are worth it in my opinion.

Same guy is also on the bimmer forums, http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum....php?t=1025134

Yeah, I've contacted that guy.
Besides his someone non-committal attitude (he is rather ambiguous about what he actually does have, but is very firm in that he doesn't have what I want when I contacted him last), he wouldn't give me a firm price or shipping charge on anything.
He was constantly feeling me out for what I was willing to pay, I guess.

I can usually score R6 for about $250 - $350 for a set of four locally, so it will have to be at least that good of a deal for me to pay to have them shipped.

Good info, I never bought from him, I have no problem getting the more popular 275/35/18 elsewhere. 245/40/18 is not a real popular size in takeoffs so if you can score for $250-350 I say jump on it and buy as many as your garage will hold.

I have 4 nto1's you can have for free next time your here. They have 2/32nds, so they won't last to long but long enough to be worth the cost of mounting them.
