We've gotten confirmation that we're going to have both Saturday and Sunday featured on their main page.
We're also working with Stickam's production manager so we can deliver enough content for people who cannot attend the event that they know what is going on. What form that will take is still being worked out but we want to make sure everyone can be part of this event even if you can't make it to California.

unless of course Phil didn't get the memo that the BHR guys are bringing a dyno with them and we'll be doing pulls at the In-n-Out parking lot.

- The Candlewood Suites have an advertised rate of $60 for the 18th and 19th.
I don't know what rate Gil will be able to scam his employer for this year (it was around $60 two years ago when I stayed there), but quite a few of the "real" hotels in Vegas ("real" = "with a Casino, pool and covered parking" etc.) are offering $60 - $80 rates those nights, including the Tropicana and the Hilton which is right down the street.
Just an option. - Also, is anyone interested in carting at Pole Position?
- Has anyone set-up a FaceBook invite for this yet? If not, I'll do it.
- There are only 2 people from Vegas attending? WTF?
Ask the Phil or the guys what they paid when they stayed at my job
Tropicana and Hilton? please I use to work at the Trop. Its a frocking dump! even the "Paradise" tower has bugs and rats and the place is full of hookers . Your better off sleaping in a ashtray

Well, Candlewood is not exactly the Venetian.
Its just another "extended-stay" roach motel - which is fine with me most of the time. Its just a room. You sleep in it. That's it.
I guess people could stay at the Hooters Hotel. Now THAT'S a dump!
I get pretty good rates at the Station properties which are really nice.
My point about the Hilton is that it will end up being about the same rate as your "subsidized" rate at the CW, but it has a 24 hour restaurant, covered parking and a casino.
Everyone will stay where they like. It doesn't really matter.

Meh no place is perfect. I use to work for the Venetian & The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. The freaking Hard Rock had better "base rooms" rooms than the Venetian! The Venetian has some good upgrade rooms or better rooms in the second tower before they put up the P. But for the most part all the rooms I went into at the V where full of paint chips fadded carpet and tv's that would not come up from the foot of the bed lol
I like the Bose system at the Hard Rock \m/

I usually stated at Mandalay when I did conventions.
But if it was up to me, I'd stay where ever was closest to where I was working.
I'd stay at Extended-Stay on Boulder. Hell, I've stayed at the Greek Isles a bunch of times!
I like Sunset Station 'cuz of the bowling alley.
I hated the Palm, but it was close to the carting track, so that was cool.
Orleans sucks. MG sucks. Excalibur really sucks.
Luxor was always fun and I usually could get one of the hot tub suites for little or no money extra.
New York and Paris suck. Usually.
Ti and Mirage suck.
I kinda like Casino Royale just because it isn't trying to be anything other than a hole in the wall (like El Cortez). lol Hooters is in a world of suck all its own, but it is often super, super cheap.

There I fixed that. All rotary engined cars are invited. I am not pushing "out of state" 7s to come due to their age but if they show they will be welcomed.
There are five star hotels, four star and dumps in this town. In our case it's just a place to lay your head between events. Gill get rooms below the average price and other Hotels have "specials". Hell I know of one guy that will be staying at the Aria (the new City Center five star) for free while at our meet and another that will have a free room at one of Harrah's joints. If you don't want to spend time looking for a room, pm Gill. You will get a fair room for a very fair price.
Obama hates Las Vegas.........all the more reason to come.
